The students from 2nd-1re and terminal SIA didn't only practise their debating skills biweekly at the LFA, they also took part in the yearly PaMun, IndMun and 4 Paris Debating Association meetings under the guidance of Mrs Siobhan Rostaing and Caroline Moyer.  Both leaders were thanked for their efforts with a nice bunch of flowers offered by the PSAB.

Post-Bac-Orientation Meeting 2014

on Tue, 01/21/2014 - 12:22

This year the Post-Bac-Orientation meeting was held on Saturday, January 18th, a little too late to have alumni join us for their testimonies because they had already returned to their universities. An audience of over 70 SIA students and their parents was nevertheless presented with 4 slideshows on Europe, UK, USA and France by Mrs Rostaing, Mr Boardman, Mrs Janin (Parent) and Mrs Perraud. Many thanks to them! See below the slideshows of their presentations.

The 2013 PAMUN (Paris Model United Nations) conference held in Paris from November 29 - December 1 was a resounding success for the Lycée Franco-Allemand MUN Club.   Our delegation received five honorable mention delegate citations and one best delegate award during the closing ceremony.  Out of the 850 student delegates present, only approximately 40 student delegates received recognition for their outstanding participation.  The LFA delegation garnered more overall recognition than any of the other 65 schools from around the world attending the conference.

LFA Xmas Market serenaded by SIA singers

on Sun, 12/01/2013 - 11:38

The LFA christmas market was hugely successful. The crowds of visitors were treated to a beautiful muscial serenade by the PSAB carol singers as they entered throught the main entrance. The PSAB singers were led by Chrintina Galley and featured parents and teachers alike of the English section. They sang many popular carols in English as well as songs in French and German.

Past the entrance visitors entered into a school totally transformed for the occassion into a bustling crowded typical German Christmas Market of epic proportions.

A memorable moment was had by all.
