Spring Potluck 2010

We knew PSAB members were brave, very brave, but no other day made it more obvious than the 30th of May 2010 at the Cour Roland.View the photos of the day

Maybe some other associations would have let the rain ruin their first field day. But not PSAB. Indeed, our members showed up drenched in enthusiasm, ready for fun.

First the delicious exotic meal and entertaining speeches created an open and friendly atmosphere.

But then, the competition began.

The guests were divided into teams, mixing ages and families. Those teams were then asked to invent a logo, a team name and prepare a team cheer.

Then it was the time to face the challenges: Tug of war, Wellie throwing, a mixed relay of three-legged race, egg and spoon race, blind sprint, and grapefruit pass.

To top it off PSAB members had prepared a scavenger hunt, sending friends and families galloping through the woods searching for striped socks, a four-leaf clover and or the words to “God Save the Queen”.

For the more intellectual people, a series of puzzles were on hand.

It was really fun and a great chance to get to know new people, or old people in a new way. So if you let the bad weather scare you off this year, be sure to come next year.
