Class of 2008

What has become of them?

Now that 2008 is  over, it is time to check that our first class of OIB from the « Section Internationale Anglophone de Buc » is happy in its new environment.

We have just learned that out of the 14 students who got their diploma last July,

 - 5 had joined a University in the UK: 1 in Scotland (Aberdeen) and 4 in England (York, London, Manchester, Kent). It seems that their integration was done successfully and that doing studies 100% in English was not an issue!

- One student has chosen to do a management program of which half is done in France (Reims) and half in England (Lancaster).

- Out of the 8 other alumni, 5 are doing a “classe préparatoire aux grandes écoles”, 1 has started medical studies and 1 is doing a special course in science and music. The last one, who used to divide her time between music and studies in the LFA is now studying music full time in Paris.

All the students are satisfied with their studies, and plan to have a get-together during the Christmas period to share their new experiences.

University of Aberdeen (Scotland): During fresher’s week, end of September, the new students, guided by second year students, are invited to discover their University.
